Solid wood is at the heart of my work. I like to show it off, knots and grain included, or pair it with other materials. My training as a cabinetmaker lets me go further than standard joinery: veneer work, blends of styles, carefully worked finishes.

Not always. A standard unit from a big store that has to be adapted, cut down or added to often ends up costing as much as a piece made for your room. And bespoke uses every centimetre: no wasted space, no unit sticking out. I give you a firm price before we start, and you compare at your leisure.
As a rule, allow 4 to 10 weeks between approving the quote and fitting, depending on the complexity of the piece and the workshop's workload. I give you a precise lead time with the quote, and I stick to it.
No. Solid wood is the heart of my trade, but I also work with wood-veneered panels, melamine and laminate when that is the right choice for your budget or for how the piece will be used. I explain the differences simply, and the choice is yours.
Yes, and I enjoy that. A family piece, a light fitting you are attached to, a painting: the layout can be designed around it. It is one of the questions I always ask before I start drawing.
