A walk-in wardrobe that uses every centimetre, a cupboard under the stairs, a floor-to-ceiling bookcase: I build storage that follows the lines of your home, even where nothing standard will fit.
Lack of storage is the complaint I hear most often. The solution is almost never one more piece of furniture: it is a piece designed for the space you already have.
For the inside of storage units, is often the best choice: clean, stable, affordable. For what shows, a bookcase or handsome fronts, solid wood or bring the warmth of real wood.
And when the project deserves it, I bring out my cabinetmaker's tools. Precious woods, traditional joints, old-style finishes: I made a changing table in burr walnut meant to pass from generation to generation. A one-off piece is not a luxury reserved for châteaux: it is a project we talk about together, simply.
The gold-underlined words are explained on hover. All definitions are in the joinery glossary.
You call me and tell me what is overflowing and where. We set a date to meet at your home.
I measure the space, listen to your habits, then create the plans and 3D views of the future storage.
A firm price, item by item, with no surprises. You take the time you need to decide.
I build in the workshop, fit everything, adjust the doors and the drawers. We check it all together.
| Bespoke walk-in wardrobe, fitting included | €1,500 to €6,000 |
The price depends on the size, the materials and the interior fittings (drawers, lighting, doors). Cupboards, hanging space and bookcases: quote based on dimensions, free and with no obligation. The price given is firm.
That is exactly where bespoke makes the most sense. Lofts, under-stairs spaces, niches, walls that are not straight: I build the furniture for the space, not the other way round. Every centimetre becomes useful.
A kit imposes its own dimensions: gaps are left over, cuts are approximate, and the quality of the runners often leaves something to be desired. A bespoke walk-in wardrobe uses the full height and the full width, with hardware that lasts. For the same floor area, you store noticeably more.
For the inside of a cupboard, melamine is perfect: stable, clean, affordable. For what shows, a bookcase or fronts, solid wood or veneer bring the character. The two can be combined for a piece that is handsome outside and clever inside: that is what I do most often.
Allow 4 to 8 weeks between approving the quote and fitting, depending on complexity. The fitting itself usually takes a day, sometimes two for large sets.
Yes. I trained as a joiner and cabinetmaker: veneers, precious woods, traditional joints. For example, I made a changing table in burr walnut, designed to stay in the family. If you dream of a one-off piece, let's talk about it.
Call me and let's talk it over. The visit and the quote are free, and you decide in your own time. I speak English, so feel free to call or write in English.
