Window fitting
Windows and French doors in uPVC, timber, aluminium or timber-aluminium. I compare the materials frankly, prices included.
See this serviceYour windows and doors are the eyes of your façade. They let the light in, keep the cold out and give the house its character. I help you choose them well, then I fit them with care.
When people talk about exterior joinery, they often picture a simple window. In reality, every opening counts: for insulation, for noise, for security, for light. And every house has its own constraints.
I supply and fit windows, French doors, front doors and sliding patio doors, in timber, uPVC, aluminium or timber-aluminium. I can also make fixed frames in special shapes to give a façade some character.
My job is to advise you honestly: the right material for your house and your budget, not the most expensive one. Then to fit it properly, because poor fitting ruins the best of windows.

Here are the questions I will ask you when we first talk. Take your time to think them over, there are no wrong answers.
You call me, you explain. I ask a few questions and we set up a visit at your home.
The visit is free: I take the measurements, check the state of the walls and give you advice on the spot.
A firm price, item by item, no surprises. You take as long as you need to decide.
I fit, I adjust, I clean up. We check everything together before I leave.
There is no bad material, there are different houses and different budgets. uPVC offers the best value for money, timber respects the character of older houses, aluminium allows large modern openings, and timber-aluminium combines the two. I advise you at your home, without pushing anything. You will find a detailed comparison with prices on the window fitting page.
No, nothing forces you to. You can start with the coldest or noisiest rooms, then spread the rest over time. Changing several windows at once does reduce the cost per window, though, and keeps the façade consistent. I help you find the right way to split the work for your budget.
Yes, subject to your income and the performance of the new windows: the MaPrimeRénov' grant, VAT reduced to 5.5% for energy renovation work, sometimes local schemes. The rules change often, so we go through it together at quote time, with the real figures of the moment.
My workshop is in Gerde, next to Bagnères-de-Bigorre. I work across the whole of the Hautes-Pyrénées: Bagnères, Tarbes, Lourdes, the Campan valley, and as far as Pau. For bigger projects I travel further, once I have looked at the details.
Call me and let's talk it over. The visit and the quote are free, and you decide in your own time. I speak English, so feel free to call or write in English.
