The heavy work done while the clients were on holiday
Fully renovating the kitchen of a house the owners live in, without making the clients camp in the living room: the answer is organisation. Acting as , I coordinated six craftsmen. Everything that makes dust was carried out while the clients were on holiday: a reinforced concrete wall opened up to create the central island, wiring and plumbing brought up to standard, new wall linings, the window replaced, demolition and the rubble cleared away, complete repainting. When they came back, the room was ready for the kitchen to be fitted. All of it kept impeccably clean: the house stayed lived in.
A worktop just 12 millimetres thick
The worktop is concrete-effect : rot-proof, very hard-wearing, and slimmer than any other material allows. That reduced thickness calls for a specific supporting structure underneath; it is not a worktop you fit like a standard one. Combined with the oak-effect fronts and the large pan drawers, it gives the room a clean, contemporary line.

How much does a full kitchen renovation cost? Can you stay in your home during the work? Who coordinates the different trades?
I have practical answers to all of that, and two articles to dig deeper: the price of a bespoke kitchen and preparing your room before a kitchen is fitted. For your own project, call me: the quote (the French devis) is free. I speak English, so feel free to call or write in English.
